The Foundation Robert F. Kennedy is organizing the annual fundraising event to be held in Milan May 17, 2012 at Hangar Bicocca, in an exclusive evening to the presence of Kerry Kennedy, Tara Gandhi, granddaughter of Mahatma and about 600 people in the institutions of 'entrepreneurs and finance. In 2005, Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights has set up its branch in Italy, the European Union, for even better support its activities in the fight for human rights through concrete help to those men and women who dedicate their lives to others, and denouncing violations limitations of those rights that are recognized on the basis of the life of every individual. The Foundation Robert F. Kennedy also intervenes daily in many countries around the world both directly, that supporting and helping other non-profit organizations including during natural disasters (eg Haiti, Louisiana, Gulf of Mexico). "Speak Truth To Power: Courage without Borders", with the introduction of the President of the Republic, is an educational manual on human rights and rule of law, for high school and that, only in Italy, has been used by more than 250,000 students. The fund-raiser of the Foundation, in addition to the support of people and institutions, is through a donation to attend the evening and also at an auction (silent) to be held on the evening of May 17. All participants will be sent a few days before the catalog of the lots, with the description and the name of the donor. The same catalog will then be delivered in paper format on the evening of May 17. At a later date, will be sent to all a book of thanks which will be mentioned in all the companies, the people, the artists who have contributed their support to the fundraising.
