Rizzordi Art Foundation with the support of the General Consulate of Italy in Saint-Petersburg represented an exhibition of artists participating in the Venice Biennale "Manifesto."

The art is overall, infinite and single, and in this sense, available to everyone. The art should not and, in fact can’t block itself by the walls of elitism and inaccessibility, which may be reached only by people associated with this world. On the contrary, it is mixed with the people, contradicts them, becomes a stumbling block and a "trap," as Marcel Duchamp used to say. The art is an obstacle which becomes a cornerstone of a new vision of the usual things. It should become a part of life for each of us (in the subway, train stations, parks and squares) to streamline the rhythm, to fill each of us "from the beginning to the end with creative inspiration".

Manifesto is an exhibition and research, seeking the status of creative laboratory. Its purpose is the implementation of the ideas and meanings which are able to establish the connection between the actual and artistic perception. The basic concept of the exhibition is signification. It is a manifesto, created by the supervisor of the exhibition Francesco Attolini, developed in collaboration with the philosopher Andrea Sartori, in which they urge to rethink the figure of the artist, the connection between art and action, technology and art practices which solve the most acute problems of the city public media en viron mentidentity.

The participants of the exhibition are Italian artists from all over the world, whose works may be found in the museums and private collections in New York, Milan, Berlin, Beijing, Basel, Rome, Brussels, London, Krakow, Moscow and New Delhi. All of them are exponents of such respected forums of the world art as the Venice biennale, the Triennale in Milan, Moscow biennale of contemporary art.

Most of the works on the Russian exhibition are showcased for the first time and the rest of it will be created especially for this exhibition.
