The most significant exhibitions and events
With more than 150 exhibitions organised over the past 13 years in Russia, our agency ranks among the most representative cultural and artistic leaders in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
Francesco Attolini was the creator of the first recognised International Contemporary Art Gallery in St. Petersburg (OIOI + CHE), which in just a few years from 2009 to 2013 conquered Russia and Europe with world-class events. It attracted the attention of Russia's leading fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin with whom Francis opened a second Gallery venue on the first floor of his Mega Atelier Show Room in Moscow. Together with Pr Andrey Fomin and Sculptor Mikhail Dolgopolov, they created Moscow's first Womans Club with the Russian capital's most famous, wealthy businesswomen. An extraordinary success that saw them appear at the Spoleto Festival in 2012 as special guests in the Rassegna Curata da Vittorio Sgarbi, and again in the same year with an exhibition in honour of Valentin Yudashkin in the Parisian venue of Michele Casamonti's Galleria Tornabuoni. Also worth mentioning is INTO THE PUBLIC, which remains to this day the largest Contemporary Art exhibition ever held in Russia in a train station (Moskovski Vogzal) opened by a concert by internationally renowned saxophonist Igor Butman.
In 2013, he organised a number of exhibitions in a renowned Russian Contemporary Art Institution, the Rizzordi Foundation. Among them was the largest ever exhibition of Contemporary Art by Italian Artists in the Federation. 5 artists, more than 80 works in around 3000 square metres and around 15,000 visitors entitled: The Manifesto of Significativism.
In 2013 he opened an exhibition space "Gostinaia" in the famous 2213 (Global Point Family) while in 2014 thanks to the partnership with Philipp Morris he organised a series of events dedicated to art in the splendid setting of the Saint Gallis building. 2015 was the year of the beginning of his collaboration with Ginza Project, which allowed him to become Art Director of the Nevsky 8 Gallery and to be in charge of all the special events dedicated to Art in all the Group's restaurants. In 2017 Francesco Attolini opened another Gallery bearing his name "Metropolis Gallery" by Francesco Attolini in the Metropolis complex, which also includes a Restaurant and a multi-purpose sports centre. In 2018, his consecration as a curator and organiser with the exhibitions of one of the world's most highly rated contemporary Russian artists, Oleg Dou, and the famous Laurence Jankell. Not even the Covid 19 pandemic stops the projects with the birth of Art Concept Fontanka 127 and collaborations with Art Imena Gallery, Malbert Gallery, and the Zima Leto Group.
