Vittorio Sgarbi (born may 8th 1952, Ferrara) - is a famous art critic, political and cultural observer, anchorman. Vittorio Sgarbi got his degree in art critics in Bolognan University and started his career as an inspector of conservation of historical and cultural heritage in the region of Veneto. He also worked as a professor teaching "The history of art techniques" at the Udine University. After participating in Maurizio Costanzo tv show he got a troublemaker reputation. For several years he was directing his own show called "Sgargi Quotidiani" on Canale 5", where he was criticizing different politicians and cultural figures. At the same time he was writing articles for Epresso, Panorama, Il Giornale. As a politicial Vittorio Sgarbi was elected as a member of italian parliament and Milan municipality and from june 2008 till march 2012 he was a major of Salemi. In 2011 Vittorio Sgarbi was in charge of Italain Pavilion during The Biennale of Venice". Thanks to him for the first time in history the exposition was expansed in major cities all over the country. A part from his political and art career he takes part in national theatrical life. His debute as a stage director was in 2002 when he presented an opera "Rigoletto" sponsored by Toscanini Fund. In 2009 he made a tour with his theater play "Another Sgarbi" and a year later together with a pianist Nazareno Carusi realized a play called "The dialogues for two", consacrated to Ferenz List journeys and works by Michelangelo and Dante. For this very play in 2011 he was awarded with Lunezia Prize.
